Magnifique journée pour célébrer les 2 ans d'Alaïs et 32 ans d'Anne-Marie!

Nice day to celebrate Alaïs' 2 years old birthday and Anne-Marie's 32 years old birthday!

 

Mariage d'Irene et Philipp!

Si nous sommes à Vienne, c'est surtout pour cette occasion là, le mariage d'Irene et Philipp!

La cérémonie est magnifique. Nous nous trouvons dans une salle digne du château de Sissi, qui se trouve à l'intérieur du musée de l'Augustina. Un moment très intense où Régine verse sa petite larme en lisant le poème "I carry you in my heart" de E.E. Cummings. Toute nos félicitations au jeunes mariés!

If we are in Vienna, it is especially for this event, Irene and Philipp's wedding! The ceremony is beautiful and we are in a room that is as much beautiful as one in Sissi's castle! It's inside the Museum of Augustina, just amazing! Regine is crying a little while reading the poem "I carry you in my hearth" from E.E. Cummings. Congratulations to the freshly young married!!!

Après la cérémonie, les invités félicitent les mariés et donnent leur cadeaux. Lola reste auprès d'Irene et Philipp pour leur donner un coup de main, et prend sa tâche très au sérieux!

After the ceremony, the guests congratulate the happy couple and give them their presents. Lola stays with them and helps them arranging them! She takes her task very seriously!

Ouahou, et le soleil fait son apparition pour cette merveilleuse journée. On peut profiter de la magnifique terrasse et de sa vue sur Vienne! Et ce soir nous continuerons la fête!

Amazing, the sun is now shinning for this beautiful event! We can enjoy the terrasse and the view! And tonight the celebration will continue!

Le Château de Schönbrunn

Ce matin nous visitons le Château de Schönbrunn où vécu l'Impératrice Sissi! Lola est impressionnée par la grandeur de son habitation!

This morning we are visiting the Castle of Sissi, Schönbrunn. Lola is very impressed by the size of her "house"!

Vienne

Promenade dans la vieille Ville de Vienne. Nous passons par le Stephansdom, cathédrale de Saint-Etienne, devant l'Opéra et devant le célébre stand à saucisses des Bitzinger!

A nice walk in the old city of Vienna. We are seeing the Stephansdom, the Opera and the famous Bitzinger's sausages stand!

Et maintenant c'est l'heure du souper, nous restons fidèles à l'Augustinerkeller et à ses anciennes caves de monastère. L'endroit y est chaleureux et la nourriture typiquement viennoise!

And now it's dinner time. As regular customers we are enjoying a typical viennese dinner at the Augustinerkeller! The place is nice and we always feel very welcomed!

Vienne/Prater

De retour à Vienne, notre ville adorée. Nous allons au Prater et faisons un tour sur la fameuse Grande Roue, qui fut construite en 1897 par 2 ingénieurs britanniques. Détruite par un incendie en 1945, la Grande Roue fut reconstruite, mais avec 15 wagons au lieu de 30.
We are back in Vienna, our cherished city. We are going to the Prater and are trying the famous Big Wheel. It was built in 1897 by to english engineers, and was destroyed by a fire in 1945 and was rebuilt.

Dimanche de Pâques

A la chasse aux oeufs et au lapin!!! Lola ne laisse pas beaucoup de chance à sa petite soeur, il faut un peu l'aider!!! Ensuite, jolie ballade à vélo dans les environs.
This is the hunt party to find eggs and rabbits! Lola finds almost everything and doesn't let her sister find anything. We have to help her a little bit! Then a nice bike ride in the area.



Allez, ce soir nous allons au restaurant du Château! Est-ce vraiment une bonne idée? Lola a goûté les escargots... et Alaïs nous en a fait voir de toutes les couleurs! Heureusement les voisins et serveurs ont été très patients avec nous!
Tonight let's have dinner at the Castle's restaurant! Is it really a good idea? Lola can taste the famous snails.. and Alaïs doesn't behave very well! Fortunately our neighbours and waiters are very patient with us!

Touroparc

Nous sommes à Romanèche-Thorins où se trouve un parc zoologique, le Touroparc. Après une grosse averse, nous pouvons déambuler tranquillement et admirer les animaux. Le parc est bien fait mais c'est sûr que les animaux seraient mieux en liberté!

We are in Romanèche-Thorins where there is a wildlife park, named Touroparc. After a big rainfall, we can walk alround and look at the animals. The park is well made but it is true that they would probably feel better in freedom!
