Nous sommes arrivés dans le Parc National du Sine Saloum et prenons une barque pour aller sur l'île de Mar Lodj.
We are in the National Park of Sine Saloum and we are taking a boat to Mar Lodj Island.
C'est l'aventure! Nous nous dirigeons vers l'île aux pêcheurs pour rencontrer les habitants et leur amener des présents comme du riz, des habits et des affaires pour l'école. Pour y aller, nous nous installons sur un char en bois tiré par un cheval!
A big adventure! We are going to the Fishers Island so we can meet the people living there. We are bringing them some rice, clothes and material for school. To go there we have to sit on a cart pulled by a horse!
Nous sommes évidemment très bien accueillis, et pour nous remercier de nos cadeaux, les villageois chantent et nous mènent dans la danse!
We are very well welcomed et to thank us for bringing them some gifts, they are singing and making us dance!
Et voici la petite école du village. Rien à voir avec nos écoles de riches en Suisse!!! Ceci est une bonne leçon de vie pour nous tous afin d'apprécier le confort que nous avons chez nous. Par contre, les gens sont bien plus chaleureux au Sénégal!
And here is the village school. Nothing like the schools we have in Switzerland!!! This is a good lesson of life for all of us to appreciate all the moderne and rich conveninences we have back home. On the other hand, people are much warmer here in Senegal!
